We built SwipeClean with a "Privacy First" mindset — meaning your photos stay on your device and are never uploaded to the cloud.
The Most Important Part
SwipeClean never uploads your photos to any server. All photo analysis, gallery scanning, and cleanup operations happen entirely on your device. Your personal memories remain private and under your control at all times.
1. Information We Collect
A. Photo and Media Data
To provide its core functionality, SwipeClean requires access to your device's photo library and storage. While the App "sees" your photos to allow you to swipe and organize them, none of this media data is ever transmitted to us or any third party.
B. Usage and Device Data
We may collect certain non-personal information automatically through third-party services (like Google Firebase) to help us improve the App. This may include:
- Device information (model, OS version, unique device identifiers)
- App performance data (crash logs, load times)
- General usage patterns (which features are used most)
- General location data (at the city or country level, derived from IP)

We use the collected non-personal data to:
- Maintain and improve the App's performance and stability

3. Third-Party Services
SwipeClean utilizes several trusted third-party services to help us manage the App:
- Google Firebase / Analytics / Crashlytics: Used to track App performance and usage trends.
- Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements in the free version of the App. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to show relevant ads.
- RevenueCat: Used to manage and verify optional premium subscriptions. RevenueCat receives your purchase/subscription status and an app-specific account identifier to confirm entitlement. It does not receive your payment card details — those are handled directly by Google Play or the App Store.

4. Data Security
Since your photos never leave your device, they are as secure as your phone itself. For the non-personal usage data we collect, we use industry-standard security measures provided by Google Firebase to protect it from unauthorized access.
5. Your Choices & Control
- Permissions: You can grant or revoke photo library access at any time through your device's system settings.
- Ads: You can reset or limit ad tracking via your device's privacy/advertising settings.
- Opt-Out: You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the App.
6. Children's Privacy
SwipeClean is not designed for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
