No. SwipeClean processes all photos entirely on your device. Your photos never leave your phone. There are no server uploads, no cloud processing, and no third-party access to your personal photo library.
Never. Photos marked for deletion are placed in a review queue. You preview each one, verify your selection, and confirm deletion only when you're ready. You can also undo any swipe before confirming.
Once you confirm deletion, photos are moved to your device's trash or deleted according to your Android version. On Android 11+, photos may be recoverable from the system trash for a limited time. Always review the delete queue carefully before confirming.
SwipeClean requires media access to read your photos for display in the swipe interface and scan them for Smart Cleanup. Storage access is needed to calculate storage usage and perform the deletions you explicitly approve. No photos are uploaded or shared.
Yes. All core photo-cleaning functionality works completely offline. Scanning, swiping, reviewing, and deleting photos require no internet connection. Only optional features like ads need connectivity.
First, ensure you have the latest version installed. Try force-closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, clear the app cache in device Settings โ Apps โ SwipeClean โ Clear Cache. If problems continue, please email us at droidxtechno@gmail.com with your device model and Android version.
SwipeClean is free to download and use. The free version is supported by ads. Core photo cleaning features will remain accessible for free.
We're actively developing AI Similar Photo Detection, Best Shot Finder, Advanced Blur Detection, and Smart Recommendations. These features are in development and not yet available. We'll announce them when they launch.
